Police Round Up Three Killing Suspects

NEW ORLEANS -- New Orleans police have rounded up three men wanted in three separate killing investigations.Mark Ott, 31, Tyrone Reynolds, 21, and Robert Smith, 53, have all been arrested according to a Wednesday press release.Police said Ott fatally wounded Robin Malta on June 11 at the 600 block of Port Street. Police arrested him in Livingston Parish and booked him in New Orleans with one count of first-degree murder.
Reynolds surrendered to police Monday, officers said. He was wanted in connection with the fatal wounding of Kerry Emery, 28, on July 20 at the 3300 block of Clouet Street. Police said another man, Jeremy Patterson, was Reynolds’ accomplice in the killing.Smith fatally wounded Lawrence Robinson, according to police, on July 21 at the 1400 block of South Rampart Street. Smith turned himself in Wednesday around 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of Whitney and General Degaulle. He was charged with one count of manslaughter.Police are still searching for Patterson. Crimestoppers is offering up to a $2,500 reward for information leading to Patterson’s arrest and indictment.
