NEW ORLEANS -- While shoppers eagerly await the opening of new department stores at two local malls, job-seekers need wait no more.

The parent corporation of Macy's is soliciting applications for work at stores slated to open later this year at Esplanade and Lakeside Malls.

About 450 positions are available. Both stores are scheduled to open in October.

The company will staff human resource centers to accept applications, beginning Monday, July 7. The temporary addresses, telephone numbers and hours of operation are as follows:
