WASHINGTON -- Individuals and businesses located in areas affected by Hurricane Gustav will get more time to pay their taxes.The Internal Revenue Service said it's postponing return filings and payments until Jan. 5. They include estimated tax payments and extended corporate returns due on Sept. 15. Also, individual extended 1040 tax returns due next month are postponed.Those living outside areas designated by the IRS must call its disaster hot line to request tax relief. The number is 866-562-5227.
