The city reported the following changes in crime. The changes are measured from January to February 2008 compared to January through February 2007:
Murder: -2.08 percent
Rape: -27.27 percent
Armed Robbery: 16.07 percent
Simple Robbery: -6.31 percent
Assault: -7.43 percent
Burglary: -8 percent
Theft: -.93 percent
Auto Theft: 14.61 percent
Total Crimes: -.57%
