WDSU's HD Signal Returning To Cox Cable

WDSU's programming will return in high-definition to Cox Cable.

Hearst-Argyle Television -- which owns WDSU-TV -- and Cox Communications have reached an agreement that will bring WDSU's high-definition signal to Cox HD subscribers.

The deal is effective immediately, and customers should see WDSU in HD on their Cox cable system by Friday, Sept. 28. WDSU HD will be on Channel 706, and WDSU WeatherPlus will be on Channel 108.

In addition, Cox customers will now have access to WDSU WeatherPlus, the only full-time weather channel featuring meteorologists based here in New Orleans.

"We're pleased to have our digital signal back on the Cox system and to be able to provide our award-winning local programs, NBC HD programming and our 24-hour digital weather channel to our valued viewers who are Cox subscribers," said Joel Vilmenay, president and general manager of WDSU-TV.
